Education - Educational Administration Concentration, PhD

Educational Administration provides advanced graduate study for highly qualified, experienced educational leaders in elementary, secondary, and higher education settings. The number of required credit hours depends on qualifications. Students complete courses required by the college and the program, electives specific to a chosen area of emphasis, a field project/internship or an apprenticeship in college teaching, and a dissertation. Areas of emphasis within the program include management and leadership, organizational theory, policy and governance, organizational socialization, and research methods. The program also includes courses in K-12 or higher education and courses taken outside the department.
